Driving Business Transformation with Zenni Optical

YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Influencer, Celebrity Partnerships​​

Zenni Optical is a direct-to-consumer eyewear leader that has been disrupting the optical industry for 20 years by providing high-quality prescription and non-prescription glasses at affordable prices. 

 

For two years, Canvas+Co partnered with Zenni to accelerate their digital strategy and create alignment between the siloed social, creative, influencer and media teams. Working as an extension of Zenni’s  in-house and agency teams, we helped to drive critical business transformation, taking Zenni from a siloed operation that lacked key platform strategies to a creative-first organization with clearly defined channel goals. Our partnership included:

  • Developing a creative testing engine to increase ROAS on digital platforms and unlock a customer-centric approach to messaging across paid social, TV,  influencer and celebrity campaigns

  • Defining Zenni's long-term TikTok strategy to differentiate amongst the competitive set and optimize content outputs, ultimately growing followers 18x in 6 months and enabling Zenni to increase platform spend 100% year-over-year. The channel strategy was later featured in Modern Retail for its diverse approach to content sourcing and thoughtful balance of trending and educational video topics

  • Unlocking YouTube as a key platform, exceeding ROAS goals through repurposing creative to align to platform and storytelling best practices
