Helzberg has been delivering exceptional quality and personalized care to jewelry shoppers for over a hundred years. Following the launch of a fresh brand look in 2024, Helzberg needed new video content that aligned to their modern approach and delivered on customer needs on YouTube, Social and Search.
From concept to execution, Canvas+Co managed the production of a 10-part video education series dedicated to guiding engagement ring shoppers through their journey. Every video in the series was crafted to answer specific, high-intent consumer questions and engineered for modern search and AI SEO, ensuring Helzberg appears as the definitive, trusted source for anyone searching for diamond education. Platform-optimized versions were created to meet shoppers where they are in their journey, whether that is on Search, Social, YouTube or Helzberg's own Love & Marriage Studio.

In 2023, the Helzberg team came to Canvas+Co with a challenge: help us create a 4Cs education series that will resonate with a traditionally overlooked audience in the diamond industry (the male shopper) and can stand out in a crowded marketplace. After auditing competitor 4Cs and diamond education content and uncovering unique insights of the male ring shopper, Canvas+Co led the development of a 5-part video series that breaks down the ins-and-outs of diamonds in a fresh new way: funny, utterly simple, and brought to you by Helzberg's own Diamond Coach.
The result was Helzberg’s most successful brand campaign to date, exceeding both brand watchtime benchmarks as well as industry VTR. It also drove meaningful search lift amongst the target audience.

Bringing New Voices to Organic Social for Balsam Hill

Every holiday season, Balsam Hill brings joy to homes around the world with premium artificial trees and home decor. Seeking ways to both connect with consumers and educate them about what makes their products unique, the team at Balsam Hill enlisted Canvas+Co to concept a social-first series. Our answer? Let's go back to where it all began.
We enlisted Balsam's Founder + CEO to educate audiences about the brand's history, their line of hand-crafted artificial trees, and bring his personality to life discussing his favorite holiday traditions. This first-of-kind video series was Balsam's top-performing social content to-date.

Zenni Optical is a direct-to-consumer eyewear leader that has been disrupting the optical industry for 20 years by providing high-quality prescription and non-prescription glasses at affordable prices.
For two years, Canvas+Co partnered with Zenni to accelerate their digital strategy and create alignment between the siloed social, creative, influencer and media teams. Working as an extension of Zenni’s in-house and agency teams, we helped to drive critical business transformation, taking Zenni from a siloed operation that lacked key platform strategies to a creative-first organization with clearly defined channel goals. 111SKIN is a science-led, luxury skincare brand known for its award-winning products. With multiple new product launches and paid media campaigns on the horizon, 111SKIN needed to scale their creative efforts while maintaining a premium brand aesthetic.

Creative Learnings Bloom for The Bouqs

The Bouqs Co. delivers farm-fresh, beautifully crafted flower arrangements directly to your door. With flower shopping at its peak during seasonal moments like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, The Bouqs enlisted Canvas+Co to not only develop performance-driving CTV assets for these key months, but spearhead the brand’s first foray into intentional creative testing on CTV.
Bringing deep expertise in creative strategy and test design, we developed a first-of-kind CTV creative experiment for The Bouq’s Co. and their media agency. Using existing Evergreen assets and new Seasonal assets that we developed in partnership with our preferred production team, we were able to drive brand awareness and flower orders during peak Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day sales windows, while also isolating creative test variables. This approach unlocked access to creative and messaging learnings that scaled across multiple Bouq’s campaigns and seasonal moments.

Moving from TV-First to Cross-Platform Creative

For years, Pizza Hut designed their creative briefs for the big screen. While the resulting assets wowed in the living room, they lacked the intentional design needed for effective cross-platform viewing. Under new marketing leadership, Canvas+Co was tapped to help Pizza Hut’s teams move from a TV-first creative approach to one that leveraged the unique strengths of every channel.
A hands-on workshop hosted by Canvas+Co brought together the brand’s creative, social, and PR teams to immerse themselves in data-backed creative best practices across YouTube, TikTok and Meta, assess past work, and align around a go-forward plan for cross-platform storytelling. Within weeks of the workshop, the team implemented quick wins identified during the session to improve social creative performance and later carried their learnings into the execution of the 2023 Super Bowl campaign.
